Pastor and Pat Appreciation Breakfast

Once again your Pastor and wife want to say “THANK YOU” for the great breakfast you had in our honor. Not only was the food abundant and delicious, but the hours of work and planning are appreciated also. It was a wonderful time for us.

Christmas Cheer for Soldiers:

We only have 2 weeks to get as many cards as possible to our soldiers. There is a basket on the table for your cards. Please mark your card, “For a Soldier”. Give them an encouraging word and mark them with where you are from. They will be thrilled at the thought of this act of kindness during the “Christmas Season”. All cards must be here by Sunday, November 23rd!!

Operation Christmas Child:

DUE DATE: Sunday, November 23rd, for the AM Service! There is a table of supplies and information on the table in the foyer. If you do multiple boxes, only one check (for the shipping and handling) needs to be placed into one of the boxes. Remember NO liquids / only hard candy / no war type toys. Put soap in a baggie as it will permeate EVERYTHING else in the box.

Also, remember to pray for the children receiving the boxes, as these boxes are going into cultures where traditional evangelism has been closed!

Food Pantry / Benevolent Fund

The Contest Has Begun!! Only ONE MORE week to bring food and monetary donations for the Thanksgiving Baskets. Each Sunday School classroom has a box and a donation can. Which classroom can raise the most funds and bring in the most food, toiletries and paper products??? The winning classroom will be rewarded! Remember, “You can’t out give God!” Dave will need help with packing up and distributing the food baskets on Saturday, November 22nd. Please let Dave know if you can help in this area as well!

Do you have a NMI Reading Book or Tape? These books are so good and we need to have them returned so we can pass them around to others and give them a chance to read or listen to them. We have slowed down in getting our readers. Will you check around your home and car to see if you have any to be returned? Please see me.
